Travis and Alecia Bridgeman are a Southern Gospel duet in Cumming, Georgia. They have been singing together in local churches for over thirty-five years. In 2002, they recorded their first project, “We Will Sing Eternally”. This opened the door for many opportunities to sing in the North Georgia area. They have since recorded three other projects including their latest release, “Walking, But Not Alone”. In 2012, they sang at the last singing at the Georgia Mountain Center in Gainesville with four national groups. For the past five years, they were voted in the top five for “Favorite Southern Gospel Group” in the Atlanta area. They were voted “Duet of the Year” by the “Southeastern Southern Gospel Music Conference” for 2012. Their music may be heard on several radio stations, including WCON-FM in Cornelia, internet stations “The Light Atlanta”, “Old-Time Christian Radio”, and “Southern Gospel Station”. They have appeared on cable TV programs such as ”North Georgia Gospel” “North Georgia Now Today”, “The Cherie Show” and “Just Keep Singing”. They sing at churches, festivals, fund-raisers, and senior luncheons and dinners, including First Redeemer in Alpharetta, First Baptist Cumming, and Lakewood Baptist in Gainesville.

 

jsw travis bidgemanTravis Bridgeman is the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Cumming.  He retired from General Motors after thirty years of service. During that time, he served as a bi-vocational pastor for over ten years. Travis is also an accomplished pianist. In 2013, he was elected to the advisory board of the “Southern Gospel Music Association” (SGMA) in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Travis’ life verse is Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you     will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” 

 

 

 

jsw alicia bridgemanAlecia Bridgeman is a songwriter, devoted pastor’s wife and mother.  She is active in their church women’s ministries, and also plays the flute.   Alecia’s life verse is Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever  things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” 

 

Travis and Alecia are now blessed to be in full-time ministary for the Lord.  They have one son, Lee who has recorded several keyboard intrumentals on their projects.
